Self-knowledge is the aim of practical philosophy. At some time, who hasn't wondered: why am I here? what is the purpose of my life?
Our Introductory courses draw on the great philosophical ideas of east and west to examine the influences on our lives and show the way to a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world around us.
They emphasise the importance of practising mindfulness in daily life, and of confirming the ideas presented in our own experience. The approach is practical rather than academic, and no prior knowledge is needed.
We look forward to welcoming you.
